Andy Nurden, Director of AC Nurden Quality Builders, has seamlessly woven his family’s generations-long construction legacy into a thriving enterprise.
Andy’s apprenticeship under his grandfather (and later partnership with his father) gave him the freedom to research and understand the unique landscape of British architectural history and fuelled a passion for classic building, which led to the founding of AC Nurden Quality Builders in 1983.
Melding time-honoured craftsmanship with contemporary demands, he embarked on a journey to preserve the Cotswolds’ architectural heritage.
From the onset, Andy’s commitment to quality set him apart. Over the years, the company’s scope expanded impressively, encompassing residential projects, high street retail units, a builder’s yard, a garden centre, café and more.
This growth not only reflected his strong business acumen but also his unwavering dedication to upholding the region’s unique charm. Andy’s proud and passionate approach cascades to every member of the team and are evident in the stunning results they achieve.
His fervent support for good causes, sponsorship of events, and engagement with local clubs underscore his devotion to community well-being.
Beyond the construction site, Andy’s heart races in the world of motorsports. A former Motocross National Champion and participant in two Dakar rallies, his passion for speed remains undiminished. He pays it forward by mentoring and sponsoring emerging talents, cementing his legacy in the motorsport community.
